Eyes of the Northern Inuits

We thought we will share with you an interesting trivia regarding the eyes of the Northern Inuits. When puppies are born their eyes are sealed shut. They start to open at around one to two weeks old. At first, all Northern Inuit puppies have blue eyes in slightly different shades. They start to change their colour at around 4 weeks old and sometimes it takes weeks for the final colour to settle. You can see some examples of an amazing variety of the eye colour in the Northern Inuit breed attached.
